ইরানি জেনারেল কাশেম সোলাইমানিকে হত্যার নির্দেশ দিয়ে মার্কিন প্রেসিডেন্ট ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্প বড় ধরনের জুয়াই খেলে ফেললেন। অন্তত রাজনৈতিক বিশ্লেষকেরা তা-ই মনে করছেন।

দেড় বছর ধরে ইরানের সঙ্গে অলিখিত লড়াই চালিয়ে আসছিলেন ট্রাম্প। কিন্তু এ লড়াইয়ে তিনি শেষ দেখতে পাচ্ছিলেন না। এমনকি জেতার কোনো উপায়ও তাঁর কাছে ছিল না। শেষমেশ তিনি শুরু করে দিলেন লড়াই। তিনি আঘাত হানলেন ইরানের রেভল্যুশনারি গার্ডের অভিজাত কুদস বাহিনীর কমান্ডার জেনারেলের ওপর। মার্কিন প্রতিরক্ষা দপ্তর পেন্টাগন এই তথ্য জানিয়ে বলেছে, প্রেসিডেন্ট ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্পের নির্দেশেই সোলায়মানিকে হত্যা করা হয়। আজ শুক্রবার বিবিসি অনলাইনের প্রতিবেদনে এ কথা জানানো হয়।

সোলাইমানিকে হত্যায় যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের কী লাভ হলো?

মার্কিন সংবাদ সংস্থা ‘পলিটিকো’ তাদের এক বিশ্লেষণে লিখেছে, ইরানের শীর্ষ সেনা কমান্ডারকে হত্যার মধ্যে দিয়ে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের এক শত্রুকে নিশ্চিহ্ন করা হলো। একই সঙ্গে সৃষ্টি করা হলো মারাত্মক শত্রুতার একটি ক্ষেত্র, যা যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের নাগরিক ও মিত্রদের ওপর বুমেরাং হয়ে ফিরে আসতে পারে। মধ্যপ্রাচ্য ও এর আশপাশের অঞ্চল এখন হয়ে উঠতে পারে রণক্ষেত্র। পাল্টা হামলা ও প্রতিশোধের জন্য যুক্তরাষ্ট্রকে প্রস্তুত থাকতে হবে।

বাগদাদ আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরের বাইরে কাশেম সোলাইমানি নিহত হওয়ার জন্য মার্কিন হেলিকপ্টার হামলাকে দায়ী করেছে ইরান। তারা বলেছে, ইরাকি মিলিশিয়া নেতা আবু মাহদি আল-মুহানদিসও নিহত হয়েছেন। পেন্টাগনের বিবৃতিতে বলা হয়, বিদেশে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের লোকজনকে রক্ষায় প্রেসিডেন্টের নির্দেশনায় কাশেম সোলাইমানিকে হত্যা করেছে মার্কিন সেনাবাহিনী। কেউ কেউ বলছেন, এ হামলায় মার্কিন ড্রোন ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। তবে পেন্টাগনের পক্ষ থেকে বিষয়টি স্পষ্ট করা হয়নি।

পেন্টাগন বলেছে, জেনারেল সোলাইমানি মার্কিন কূটনীতিক ও সদস্যদের ইরাকসহ ওই অঞ্চলে আক্রমণের জন্য সক্রিয়ভাবে পরিকল্পনা তৈরি করছিলেন। এ ছাড়া তিনি বাগদাদে মার্কিন সেনা এবং বাগদাদে মার্কিন দূতাবাসে সাম্প্রতিক হামলার জন্য দায়ী। ইরানের ভবিষ্যৎ আক্রমণ পরিকল্পনা নস্যাৎ করতেই এ হামলা চালানো হয়েছে।

ইরাকের মাটিতে সরাসরি সোলাইমানিকে লক্ষ্য করে হত্যার ঘটনাটি বিশ্বব্যাপী নাড়া দিয়েছে। এর প্রভাব বিবেচনা করে তরতর করে বেড়ে গেছে তেলের দাম। মার্কিনরা দীর্ঘদিন ধরে সোলাইমানিকে সন্ত্রাসী মানসিকতার লোক বলে চিহ্নিত করে আসছে।

কয়েকজন বর্তমান ও সাবেক মার্কিন কর্মকর্তা, পাশাপাশি প্রবীণ ইরান-বিষয়ক পর্যবেক্ষকেরা বলেছেন, হত্যাকাণ্ড তাঁদের প্রত্যাশার চেয়ে অনেক বেশি দ্রুত পদক্ষেপ ছিল।

যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের একজন সাবেক সামরিক কর্মকর্তা বলেছেন, ‘আমি বিশ্বাস করতে পারিনি। আমার কাছে এখনকার উদ্বেগের বিষয় হচ্ছে ইরানের পরবর্তী পদক্ষেপ। এটাই কি একটি আঞ্চলিক সংঘাতের শুরু? আমাদের এখন যুদ্ধের জন্য প্রস্তুত থাকতে হবে।’

আরেক সামরিক কর্মকর্তার মতে, ইরান এখন যেকোনো জায়গায় যেকোনো সময় তাদের গোপন কার্যক্রম শুরু করে দেবে। আফ্রিকা, লাতিন আমেরিকা, গালফ—যেকোনো জায়গায় আক্রমণ হতে পারে।

সিআইএ ও মোশাদের হিটলিস্টে সর্বাগ্রে গুরুত্ব পাচ্ছিলেন জেনারেল কাশেম সোলাইমানি। নিজ দেশে ভক্তদের কাছে যাঁর পরিচিতি হাজি কাশেম নামে। শুধু মধ্যপ্রাচ্য নয়, পুরো সমরজগতের বিশেষ মনোযোগে ছিলেন তিনি। ইরানে দারুণ জনপ্রিয় জেনারেলের হত্যার বদলা ইরান কীভাবে নেয়, সেটাই এখন দেখার বিষয়।

নিউইয়র্ক টাইমস-এর তথ্য অনুযায়ী, সম্প্রতি ইরানের বিরুদ্ধে অনেক বেশি কর্মসূচি নিতে দেখা যায় ট্রাম্প ও মার্কিন পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী মাইক পম্পেওকে। ট্রাম্প একে বলছিলেন ‘সর্বোচ্চ চাপ’। এ চাপ দিতে গিয়ে ইরান ও তার মিত্রদের সঙ্গে ঝামেলায় জড়াচ্ছিলেন বারবার। কিছুদিন আগেও মার্কিন এক ঠিকাদার ইরাকে নিহত হন। এর পেছনে ইরান-সমর্থিত মিলিশিয়াদের দায়ী করে যুক্তরাষ্ট্র। এরপর বাগদাদে মার্কিন দূতাবাসে আক্রমণের জন্যও মিলিশিয়াদের দায়ী করা হয়।

সোলাইমানিকে হত্যার মধ্য দিয়ে পুরো ঘটনা এখন অন্যদিকে মোড় নিতে পারে। ইরানের বিরুদ্ধে অর্থনৈতিক নিষেধাজ্ঞা জারি করা ও সামরিক পদক্ষেপের হুমকিদাতা ট্রাম্পের জন্য এখন যুদ্ধে জড়ানোর আশঙ্কা তৈরি হয়েছে। এ বছরের শুরুতেই তেলবাহী জাহাজে আক্রমণের ঘটনা নিয়ে ইরান ও যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের যুদ্ধাবস্থা তৈরি হয়েছিল। যুক্তরাষ্ট্র ও ইরান পরস্পরের ড্রোন ভূপাতিত করার দাবিও করেছিল। ট্রাম্প তখন ইরানে সরাসরি আক্রমণের সিদ্ধান্ত শেষ মুহূর্তে প্রত্যাহার করেন। ট্রাম্প মধ্যপ্রাচ্যে নতুন করে সেনা পাঠালেও বারবার বলছেন, তিনি যুদ্ধে জড়াতে চান না। তবে ইরান এখন তাদের দেয়ালে পিঠ ঠেকে যাওয়ার জবাব দিতে বাধ্য হবে। যার প্রভাব এ বছরের মাঝামাঝি মার্কিন নির্বাচনেও পড়তে পারে।

ইরানকে চাপের মুখে রাখায় ইসরায়েলের প্রশংসা পেয়েছে যুক্তরাষ্ট্র। এর বাইরে সৌদি, সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাতও যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের পাশে আছে। সোলাইমানির হত্যায় তাদের কিছুটা মায়াকান্না দেখানো স্বাভাবিক হলেও ইরানের ক্ষোভ তাদের ঠেকানোর প্রস্তুতিও থাকতে হবে।

‘অল ইজ ওয়েল’— হামলার প্রতিক্রিয়ায় ট্রাম্প

ইরাকে মার্কিন দুই বিমান ঘাঁটিতে ইরানের হামলার ঘটনায় টুইটে প্রথম প্রতিক্রিয়া জানিয়েছেন মার্কিন প্রেসিডেন্ট ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্প। তিনি বলেছেন, ‘সব ঠিক আছে! এখন পর্যন্ত যা হয়েছে, ভালো হয়েছে!’

এর আগে প্রেসিডেন্ট ট্রাম্প হামলার ব্যাপারে জাতির উদ্দেশে ভাষণ দেবেন বলা হলেও পরে হোয়াইট হাউস জানায়, এ মুহূর্তে প্রেসিডেন্ট ক্যামেরার সামনে আসবেন না। যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের স্থানীয় সময় অনুসারে এখন সেখানে মঙ্গলবার গভীর রাত।

তবে জাতির উদ্দেশে ভাষণ না দিলেও টুইটে নিজের প্রতিক্রিয়া জানিয়েছেন ট্রাম্প। হামলার ঘটনার পর এটিই তাঁর প্রথম প্রতিক্রিয়া। আজ বুধবার সকালে বিবিসি অনলাইনের খবরে বলা হয়েছে, টু্ইটে ট্রাম্প বলেছেন, ‘সব ঠিক আছে! ইরাকে অবস্থিত দুটি সামরিক ঘাঁটিতে ইরান থেকে ক্ষেপণাস্ত্র ছোড়া হয়েছে। ক্ষয়ক্ষতি নিরূপণের কাজ চলছে এখন। এখন পর্যন্ত যা হয়েছে, ভালো হয়েছে! এখন পর্যন্ত বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে শক্তিশালী ও সুসজ্জিত সামরিক বাহিনী রয়েছে আমাদের! কাল সকালে আমি বিবৃতি দেব।’

বিবিসি অনলাইনের খবরে জানানো হয়, ইরাকের যে দুটি মার্কিন বিমানঘাঁটিতে ইরান হামলা চালিয়েছে, সে দুটি হলো আল-আসাদ ও ইরবিল। সেখানে মার্কিন সেনারা অবস্থান করছিল। প্রাথমিকভাবে ক্ষেপণাস্ত্র হামলা হওয়ার তথ্যের সত্যতা নিশ্চিত করেছে যুক্তরাষ্ট্র। ক্ষয়ক্ষতির বিষয়ে এখনো কোনো তথ্য পাওয়া যায়নি।

গত শুক্রবার ভোরে ইরাকের বাগদাদে মার্কিন ড্রোন হামলায় ইরানি জেনারেল কাশেম সোলাইমানি নিহত হয়েছেন। সোলাইমানি হত্যার ঘটনায় ইরান চরম প্রতিশোধ নেওয়ার ঘোষণা দেয়। এর প্রতিক্রিয়ায় মার্কিন প্রেসিডেন্ট ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্প পাল্টা হুমকি দিয়ে বলেন, ইরান হামলা চালালে দেশটির ৫২টি স্থাপনায় খুব দ্রুত ও শক্তিশালী হামলা চালানোর জন্য মার্কিন সেনারা প্রস্তুত।

সিএনএন জানিয়েছে, হামলার ঘটনায় এ মুহূর্তে (যুক্তরাষ্ট্র সময় মঙ্গলবার রাত) নতুন কোনো বিবৃতি দেবে না বলে জানিয়েছে হোয়াইট হাউস। প্রেসিডেন্ট ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্পও হামলার ব্যাপারে এখন কোনো বক্তব্য দেবেন না। এর আগে হোয়াইট হাউসের মুখপাত্র স্টেফানি গ্রিশাম এক বিবৃতিতে বলেছেন, ‘ইরাকে মার্কিন স্থাপনায় হামলা হওয়ার বিষয়টি আমরা জেনেছি। প্রেসিডেন্টকে এ বিষয়ে বিস্তারিত জানানো হয়েছে। তিনি পরিস্থিতি নিবিড়ভাবে পর্যবেক্ষণ করছেন। জাতীয় নিরাপত্তা দলের সঙ্গে পরামর্শও করছেন প্রেসিডেন্ট।’ ওই সময় হামলার ব্যাপারে জাতির উদ্দেশ্যে ভাষণের প্রস্তুতি নেওয়া হচ্ছে বলে শুরুতে জানানো হয়। তবে এখন বলা হচ্ছে, ‘আজ রাতে (স্থানীয় সময় মঙ্গলবার রাত) আর ক্যামেরার সামনে আসবেন না প্রেসিডেন্ট ট্রাম্প।’ এদিকে প্রেসিডেন্টের সঙ্গে কথা বলার পর ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট মাইক পেন্স, পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী মাইক পম্পেও এবং প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রী মার্ক এসপের সহ শীর্ষ নিরাপত্তা কর্মকর্তারা হোয়াইট হাউস ছেড়ে গেছেন।
